William Reed

William A. Reed "Bill", 60, of Linthicum died of heart failure on April 30, 2011 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1951. He had a passion for flying small craft planes. Bill was a dedicated father who was a man of science, loved music and philosophy, was very athletic and had a thirst for knowledge. He enjoyed working on his corvette. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Reed, and his parents, Doris V. and Joseph T. Reed, Sr. He is survived by his wife of almost 10 years, Elsa Reed; son, Jason Lee Reed of Baltimore; 3 step-daughters, Samantha E. Beauman, Jessica L. Beauman and Kelsey M. Beauman all of Baltimore; 3 sisters, Virginia Campagna and Margaret Burnham of Long Island, NY, and Kathleen Merritt of California; and 2 brothers, Joseph Reed, Jr. and James Reed both of Long Island, NY.
