William Ward, Sr

On March 2, 2012, William Francis Ward of Halethorpe, formerly of Curtis Bay; devoted husband of 44 years to the late Barbara J. Ward; loving father of Mary Fister, Katherine Skowrunski, and William F. Ward, Jr.; cherished grandfather of four and great-grandfather of four.
William was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Mary & Wilmer Ward. He was a proud graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, Class of 1957 and served six years in the National Guard. William worked for Baltimore Box Company for 27 years and then Caraustar Industries for 20 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus - Charles Carroll Council, and he enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, BINGO, playing slots and going to dances.
