Zelda Fay Watkins Tabor, born on March 6, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was a beloved individual who brought joy to the lives of those around her. Loving wife of Carroll A. Tabor, Jr.; beloved sister of Lonnie P. Blyther (Bobbie), Milton R. Bylthers (Burnette), Valerie M. Watkins, Yvonne M. Gines, Sonia P. Davis (Gary) Linda L. Watkins and the late Virginia B. Watkins; and devoted Auntie to Tabatha, Monica, Sahneka, Apresha, Shera, Alisa, Jasmine, Lamont, Allen, Brandon and Adrian. Zelda is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and a host of loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Albert.
Zelda's love for life was exemplified by her deep affection for the beach, where she found solace and inspiration. She had a unique passion for owls and angels, which reflected her gentle spirit and connection to the beauty of the world. The color purple held a special place in her heart, symbolizing her vibrant personality and warm presence.
A "Time of Friendship" will be held in her honor on November 11, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services PA, located at 1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061( at Crain Highway). Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects, celebrating the remarkable life of Zelda Fay Watkins Tabor.
Zelda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will be cherished forever by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty she so deeply appreciated.
