Allen Coursey, Jr

Allen W. Coursey, Jr. passed away suddenly on October 8, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Joanne Griffith; wife, Alissa Coursey and daughter, Isabella Coursey of Tarpon Springs, FL; siblings, Dawn Ellis and husband Christopher of Annapolis, MD, Donald White and wife Tammy of Pasadena, MD, Deborah White and husband Chris Binaut of Glen Burnie, MD, and David White and wife Christina of Boca Raton, FL. Allen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen W. Coursey, Sr., and step-father, Robert T. Griffith. Allen was a long time resident of Anne Arundel County. He graduated from Old Mill Senior High School and continued on with his career as a commercial plumber. Allen never met a stranger who didn't love him. He was loving, kind, and was always cracking a joke. Allen loved his little girl more than life itself. He had been living in Mobridge, South Dakota for almost a year with his loving Uncle Joseph and Aunt Angela and became close family to everyone there. He was loved by so many and will be missed by many more.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie on Sunday, October 14th and Monday, October 15th from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 16th, 10 AM, at Christ the King Church (formerly Holy Trinity). Interment will be private.
