ANTWAN TROY BRIGGS was born on January 28, 1995 in Baltimore, Maryland. He
was named in the loving memory of his Uncle. At an early age on November 5, 2006, he
accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at Mitchiner Grove Baptist Church.
Throughout his life, Antwan was known to be protective, loving, fearless, courageous, and
extremely smart. He excelled in education and carried a high IQ, loved to draw, enjoyed
music, played the guitar and had a talent for fixing things. OH! and how he LOVED
his watches. He loved his brothers and sisters wholeheartedly and deeply cared for his
mother, father, and grandparents.
Antwan received his education in both North Carolina and Maryland. His elementary
years were spent in gifted and talented programs at Laurel Mill Elementary School and
Terrell Lane Middle School located in North Carolina. His later schooling was spent at
Phoenix Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After graduating school, Antwan worked a
series of jobs locally including Safeway, Walmart, and Target. His most recent job was at
Concrete & Terrazzo Polishing with his oldest brother, Tee.
Some years later, Antwan’s son, Titan Jeremiah Briggs, was born. Antwan was proud of
this moment. He was extremely excited to be a new father. Two years later, Antwan’s
daughter, Gabriella Marie Briggs, was born. This, too, brought him immense joy. Antwan
loved his children more than anything in this world.
Antwan had an inseparable “BUDDY” Antwon Queen, whom he said: “Buddy’s my
brother — he’s one of us.” They both stayed true to one another until they were called
home together as best friends.
Antwan leaves behind his children: (1) son Titan Jeremiah Briggs (5 y/o) and (1) daughter
