Audrey Mccloskey

On March 18, 2017, Audrey Marie McCloskey, passed away at the age of 87. Audrey was born on March 18, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, and worked for the Anne Arundel County Public School System as a Secretary for 22 years. She was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Odenton where she was also a member of the Sodality. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and was actively involved in her church, but most importantly to her was being with family.
Audrey is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, James E. McCloskey; her loving children, Joan B. Kane, James E. McCloskey Jr., Gregory J. McCloskey, Dale M. McCloskey, and Jean M. Preston; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Tina, Sandy, Mary, Brian, Jimmy, Michael, Elizabeth, Madeline, Matthew, Joshua, Zachary, Katie, Samantha, Alex, and Meghan; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Luke, Hannah, Zoe, Owen, Benjamin, Nicholas, Jordan, Jimmy, J.J., Porter, Millie, Noa, Kia, and Eli.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 23rd, at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton Road in Odenton. Memorial contributions in Audrey's name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
