Bettye G. Grantham, 87, passed away on July 31, 2016. She was born on July 10, 1929 in Mississippi and lived in Glen Burnie since 1964. Mrs. Grantham was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Lt. Col. Henry H. Grantham, Sr., her daughter, Jennifer Doyle, and her son-in-law, Frank Doyle.
She is survived by her children, Henry Grantham Jr. and partner Deborah Nunno, Jeffrey Grantham, Ann Izzo, her grandchildren, Christopher Bauer and wife Lisa, Kimberly Waters, Christopher Doyle and wife Stephanie, Brian Bauer, Brad Bauer, Joey Izzo, Rebecca Izzo, and Tony Izzo, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW on Friday, August 5th, from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 12:30 pm. Interment MD Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, ATTN: Philanthropy Department, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
