Carolyn Herner

On November 4, 2006, Carolyn Elizabeth Herner passed on. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Mark A. Herner; her daughters, Mary Jo Herner and Cindy Elizabeth Miracle; her mother and step-father, Mary and Melvin Beard; her brother, Edward Sloman; and four granchildren. Carolyn was born in Beaufort County, North Carolina in 1944. She moved to Maryland and had lived in Severna Park for the past four years. She was a devoted member of the Glen Burnie Baptist Church and a substitute teacher at the New Covenant Church in Arnold. Carolyn enjoyed life. She loved both indoor and outdoor gardening, flowers, and walking both nature and hiking trails. She loved collecting teddy bears, animals and taking care of people. She worked with children in Christian, Public and Church schools. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn was a dear woman who will be missed by many.
