Carolyn Rogers

On November 2, 2019, Carolyn T. Rogers, of Pasadena; devoted mother of Donald “Butch” Rogers Jr. (Suzanne), Veronica “Roni” Tate (John) and Jennifer “Jen” Berry; beloved grandmother of Barry Allan Jr., Clint Allan, James Courtney Jr., Jonathan Courtney, Derek Rogers (Christa), Ian E. Rogers, Zechariah Tate, Isobel Tate and Caleb Tate; cherished great-grandmother of 12; caring sister of Judith Coulburn; and dear mother-in-law of Tom Carter Sr. Carolyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Kearney; sisters, Deanna Willet and Annie Shacka; daughter, Tracie Carter; and her son-in-law, Ken Berry.

Carolyn received her Associate's Degree in business from Anne Arundel Community College. She worked for the MD Gazette, David W. Taylor Naval Research Lab for 30 years and was a counselor for Jenny Craig for 17 years. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, making fleece blankets, going to craft fairs and was an avid animal lover.

The family will host a Celebration of Life for Ms. Rogers at the Odenton Fire Hall on Saturday, Nov. 16th, from 2-6 PM.
