Cecil Heimsath

On September 7, 2005 Cecil M. Heimsath passed away. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his sister Barbara Nock, brother Wayne Heimsath, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Covern, and his parents Elmer and Bertha Heimsath.

Mr. Heimsath was born in Ashland, Kentucky, and at the age of 18, began to serve his country in the United States Navy. He served from 1943-1953, and saw most of the world while serving his time on a Navy ship. He also worked at the American Embassy and the Pentagon in D.C. Mr. Heimsath loved the Navy, and was also an active memeber of the FLEET Reserve and American Legion in Indiana.
