Cynthia Rauser

Cynthia Ann Rauser (nee Bock), 63, a resident of Glen Burnie for 40 years and former resident of Severn, passed away peacefully at her home on February 18, 2021. She was born in Baltimore to the late Charles and Doris Bock. She worked for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and retired after 15 years of service. Cindy was a member of Job’s Daughters and, more recently, a Bunco group with beloved friends. She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with friends, shopping, going to Ocean City and Assateague Island and was an avid animal lover. Mrs. Rauser was passionate about family and was an exceptional caregiver to anyone in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Bock and Beverly Mrozek.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Jerry; loving children, Tim Rauser and Lauren Rauser-Uhl and her husband, Dalton; dear siblings, Karl Bock, Sharon Johnson and Betty Rabbitt; and many beloved sisters-and-brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her numerous grand-kitties.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, on Saturday, Feb. 27th, from 4-7 PM. Funeral services are private. Those of you that would like to join via Zoom, the link is below. The service is scheduled to start at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 50 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors.  We kindly ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to enter the funeral home.
