Dolores L. Burner, 95, of Millersville, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on October 6, 2022. She was born in Washington State to the late Ernesto and Marie Spadoni. She was the former director of the VFW Americanettes Majorette and Drum Corps., Post 160. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and was an avid seamstress and animal lover, especially to her cats, Figs and Sweety Pie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, William S. Burner; and her stepdaughter, Stephanie Traube.
Dolores is survived by her devoted daughters, Nancy Hood, Sandra Temple (Kevin Reagan), Susan Urbanek (Stan) and Lori Hill (Mark); “adopted” daughter, Kristin Krake; son-in-law, Bob Traube; 10 cherished grandchildren; 16 adored great-grandchildren; and one beloved great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, on Saturday, October 8th, from 12 – 2 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Following her service, there will be a Celebration of Life fellowship; details will be provided at the funeral home at the conclusion of her service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association by visiting www.diabetes.org .
