Doris Mae Hayes, 76, of Millersville, died of natural causes March 22 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1932, in Baltimore.
She retired after 15 years with the Anne Arundel Co. Board of Education as a school bus aide. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, baking cakes, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family's three dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clifton E. Hayes Jr.
Survivors include three sons, Clifton Hayes III of Pasadena, Lawrence Hayes of Brooklyn and Keith Hayes of Grafton, W.V.; three daughters, Gail Longworth of Goldsboro, Rose DuVall of Hurlock and Shirley Billing of Millersville; two sisters, Eleanor White and Mary Bartley, both of Millersville; one brother, Joseph Bury of Millersville; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
