Edward Erbe, Jr

On March 9, 2009 Mr. Edward W. Erbe, Jr., beloved husband of the late Shirley Erbe; loving father of Michael Erbe and Pam Conwell, cherished grandfather of ten and great grandfather of twelve. Mr. Erbe was born on January 18, 1927 to the late Edward and Helen Erbe. He joined the navy in 1944 and was stationed in Clinton, OK. and Shawnee, OK. While stationed in Clinton, OK. he met his wife Shirley, who was also in the navy; and was married October 31, 1945. Mr. Erbe was in the navy reserves until 1954. He worked at Goetze's Candy Co. as a project engineer until he retired in 1989. In his spare time he enjoyed puzzles, photography, building models, and woodworking. Mr. Erbe was a deacon at Faith Baptist Church for more than ten years.
