Elizabeth Hurd

On December 7, 2016, Elizabeth Mary Hurd, 98, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Elizabeth was born on January 9, 1918, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Elizabeth and Louis Paulley. She was a substitute teacher for both Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties and was a member of the Pascal Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafting, and playing BINGO.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her devoted husband, James H. Hurd, Sr. and grandson, James (Jamie) Hurd, III. She is survived by her beloved son James (Jim) Hurd, Jr. and his wife, Sharon Hurd; her three loving grandchildren; her seven cherished great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, December 13th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14th, at 11 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 801 Stevenson Road, Severn, MD 21144. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
