Elizabeth Walmsley

February 11, 1922 — June 26, 2017

Elizabeth Jane Siemon Walmsley, 95, of Glen Burnie, passed away on June 26, 2017 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake. She was born in Missouri to the late Emerson and Josephine Siemon. She was a member of the Black Eyed Susan Smocking Guild and Red Hat Cut Ups. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, smocking, tatting and knitting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Heru Ra Walmsley; son, David Roland Walmsley; and her siblings, Robert Siemon, Roland Siemon and JoEllen Cross.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, William Emerson Walmsley and his wife, Janet, Keith Samuel Walmsley, Melinda Isis Gretsinger and her husband, Nelson, Heru Ra Walmsley II and his wife, Robin Devaux, Neil Carl Walmsley and his wife, Rita; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Marilyn Martinsen and Keith Siemon.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, June 29th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
