Emma Schooley

Emma Elizabeth Schooley, 97 of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 1, 2020 in Stuart, Florida. Emma was born on August 3, 1923 in Altoona, PA to the late Edward and Ragnhild Bergsted. She was a former member of Messiah United Methodist Church and was part of their Woman’s and Widows Support Groups. She was a member of S.E.A. Union at Westinghouse and UAW at General Motors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Schooley, her children, Linda Harkum and Carol Gadd; and her great grandson, Matthew Harkum. Emma is survived by her grandchildren, Brian Harkum, Krista Harkum and Wade Gadd; her great grandchildren, Kelly, Perry and Brendan Harkum.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors.
