Flora Shuey

On April 1, 2011, FLORA V. SHUEY, a life long resident of Baltimore, passed away at Marley Neck Health & Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Shuey, Jr.; devoted mother of Carolyn F. Basham and husband Leslie, Sharon L. Booker-Shuey, John W. Shuey, III and wife Lisa, Barbara A. Kantorski, and Michael A. Shuey and wife Deborah; loving grandmother of 14 and cherished great-grandmother of 23; dear sister of Roy W. Haines. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert R. Kantorski, and siblings, Laura Corcoran, Mildred Haines, and Robert Haines. Flora was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose and an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. An avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens, she enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and scrabble.
