George E. Arbic, 75, of Glen Burnie, passed away on June 18, 2022, at his home. George was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on October 14, 1946, to the late Elizabeth and Harold Arbic. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Corporal, from 1965-1969. He then went on to work as an exterior electrician at Fort Meade, where he retired. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, and sports – especially the Eagles.
George is survived by his devoted wife, Judy D. Arbic; his loving children, Lisa Marie (Jason) DeWitt, David Arbic, Carl (Missy) Arbic, and Ann (Mark) German; his cherished grandchildren, Molly Amanda Sullivan, Casey O’Donnell, Austin DeWitt, Colbie DeWitt, River DeWitt, Elizabeth Dobbins, Jaimie Gardner, Victoria Potter, Shannon Arbic, and Meagan Arbic; his beloved great-grandchildren, Charlotte Dobbins, Jack Dobbins, Jacob Gardner, and Paislee Bella Shearer.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, June 28th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at on Wednesday, June 29th, at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
