Harry O'Berry Jr

Harry Anthony O'Berry, Jr., 86, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was born January 3, 1932, in Solomons Island, Maryland, to the late Belle and Harry O'Berry, Sr. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Harry worked his way up from an Apprentice to the General Superintendent at Bethlehem Steel Ship Yard, over the course of his 37 year career. He enjoyed tinkering, working on cars, boating and being out on the water, helping out his neighbors, and watching the birds & squirrels in his backyard.
Harry is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Betty J. O'Berry; his beloved children, Michael O'Berry, Pat O'Berry, and Donna O'Berry; his five cherished grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and his dear brother, William O'Berry.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Monday, October 8th from 5-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel.
