Jacob Alexander Nicodemi, 23, of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 23, 2021. He was born in Takoma Park, MD, to Michael Scott and Tamara Sue (Warren) Nicodemi. He was pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security at University of Maryland Global Campus, and had previously received two Associate of Arts degrees from Anne Arundel Community College. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 2016 and was a Boy Scout with BSA Troop 887 in Glen Burnie. Jacob, affectionately known as “Biggs,” worked as a government contractor for NSA. He was previously employed with Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World and Roy’s Kwik Korner. He enjoyed playing lacrosse and soccer in high school, riding his motorcycle, being outdoors and spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys was working on cars with the boys at “The Shop.”
Jacob is survived by his devoted parents, Michael and Tamara Nicodemi; cherished sister, Caitlin Nicodemi (Alex Krysiak); beloved grandparents, Robert and Shirley Warren, Peter and Eileen Nicodemi; loving aunts and uncle, Wendy Warren (Phil Francis), Greg Warren (Michelle) and Jackie Oliveira (Mel); dear cousins, Steven Oliveira, Matt Warren, Meghan Warren, Phoenix Francis and Raven Francis; and caring great-aunt, Marlys Woratschek (Ralph).
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Thursday, December 30th, from 3 - 6 PM. A Celebration of Jacob’s life will continue next door, immediately following the visitation, at the Singleton Celebration Center, 206 Crain Highway South. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to HEROES, Inc., 1200 29th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20007 or by visiting www.heroes.org
