Joan Hamilton-Jordan

Joan Elizabeth Hamilton-Jordan, 58, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Joan was born in Takoma Park, Maryland to Shirley Anne and Thomas Eugene Hamilton. She was a native and lifelong resident of Maryland and a graduate of the 1977 class of Severna Park High School. She was an employee of MAIF. All the many people and family that knew Joan knew she was one of the most giving, non-selfish, kind hearted and loving people and always there to give a helping hand whatever was needed.

Among her immediate survivors are her husband, Robert (Rob) Jordan, her mother, Shirley Anne Hamilton, her sister Loretta (Lorrie) Moreland, stepdaughters Brandie Jordan and Lindsie Yates, and granddaughter Mackenzie Raven Yates. She was predeceased by her father Thomas Eugene Hamilton, her sister Evelyn Corbin Monschein and her son John Thomas Settino. There are many nieces and nephews and if you were not related she considered you family anyway.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Sunday, September 2nd and Monday, September 3rd from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm both days. Funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Cystic Fibrosis
