On November 5, 2006, John Philip Clinedinst, Jr. passed on. John was a loving husband of 55 years to the late Noemi Berto Clinedinst. He is survived by his dear children, Orsola Anna Sprouse, Gino Clinedinst and Maria Pregent; his sisters, Maude Litzenburger and Elizabeth Barker; his brother, Donald Clinedinst; his grandchildren, Cyndi Geally, Angelina Kahl Wiseman, Elizabeth Pregent and Christopher Pregent, Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Taylar Gealy, Tyler Wiseman, Tiffany Kahl, Reece Wiseman, Joshua Kahl and Sydney Wiseman. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Philip Sr and Elizabeth Ellison Clinedinst. John was a native of Maryland. He had resided in Glen Burnie for the past five years. He was a decorated World War II Veteran. He was a military police officer and a rifle marksman. He received the European-African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with two bronze service stars, a Purple Heart, and a Combat Infantry Badge. He was an employee of Bethlehem Steel, from which he retired after 30 years. He also worked with the Rivera Beach Volunteer Fire Department. John enjoyed many hobbies. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He loved his cat Sugar and was a devoted family man. John will be missed by many.
