John Wilson Jr

John Wilson Jr, 89, of Osprey FL, formally of Pasadena Md, passed away on September 17, 2018.

He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School and served 14 years in the 104th Fighter Squadron of the Air National Guard. He was the former owner of Wilson's Service Station and Wilson's Bus Service Inc in Pasadena Md. He served his community in many ways including past president of the Pasadena Business Association, The National School Transportation Association and Maryland School Bus Contractors Association. He was an active member of the Siesta Key Kiwanis Club, most recently receiving the Legion of Honor award for 50 years of service, and a member of the Sarasota Sporting Clay Gun Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Diana; daughters, Jo-Ann Wilson, Barbara Kufel and husband Michael, Gail Hyser and husband Tom; 7 Grandchildren, Chris Dow, Jennifer Preslipski, Jessica McMillion, Eric Wedemeyer Jr, Stephanie Wilson, Corey Kufel & Devon Kufel; and 8 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics of Md.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, September 26th from 6-8 pm. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
