Julia Hupka

June 6, 1918 — September 21, 2014

Julia "Yulette" Hupka, 96, a resident of Glen Burnie and formerly of New York City, passed away on September 21, 2014 at her home. She was born in Natalie, Pennsylvania on June 6, 1918 to the late Charles and Mary Russin. Yulette was an active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and Catholic Slovak Charities. She enjoyed drawing, dancing, knitting and most importantly, being an inspiration to all. As always, "I leave you with an angel and blessing of a prayer."
Yulette is survived by her husband, Albert V. Hupka, Sr.; five children, Vincine Meyer and husband Merel, Albert Hupka, Jr., Dennis Hupka, Greg Hupka and Monica Hupka Schiefer and husband Frank; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Road; Reisterstown, MD 21136.
