Linda Bartek

Linda Anne Bartek, 72 of Severn passed away at her home on November 28, 2021. Linda was born on June 12, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Ruth Bartek. She was a school teacher and retired from Linthicum Elementary School, where she spent most of her teaching career. She enjoyed Bible study, gardening, crafts, tutoring, traveling and dining out. Linda especially loved being a grandmother. She was also very active at her church, St. Bernadette’s.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Christine Rist; her beloved granddaughter, Zaria Rist; her dear sister, Arleen Mauger; and her cherished nephews, Christopher and Nathan Mauger.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, December 5th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Bernadette Church on Monday, December 6th at 10 AM.
