Linda C. Brumfield, 73, of Cape Coral, Fl., formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born in Baltimore to the late Troy and Elsie Hitt. Linda retired from the Department of Defense, Army Corps of Engineers after 30+ years of service. She enjoyed cruising the Caribbean, traveling, going to the casino, playing BINGO and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darren Hitt.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Lester Brumfield Sr.; loving children, Lester “Jay” Brumfield Jr., Dena Wipprecht (Dennis), Teri Cunningham (Brian) and Jeff Miller (Jeanne); cherished grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Justin Miller, RJ Chess, Cody Wipprecht, Savannah Chess, Mackenzie Miller, Chase Rogers, Tyler Cunningham, Kelsey Rogers, Kaylee Rogers, Dylan Cunningham and Cort Miller; dear sister-in-law, Juvena Hitt; and caring nephew, Gunther Hitt.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, Sept. 7th, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
