Loretta Mcdonnell

Suddenly, on February 21, 2017, Loretta G. McDonnell (nee Angel) passed away after complications following surgery and a courageous battle with cancer. She peacefully slipped away surrounded by her beloved daughters and niece, Carolyn Hyatt. Loretta was born in Baltimore, MD to John S. and Mary M. Angel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. McDonnell; son, John F. McDonnell; three brothers, Delbert B. Moore, John Moore and James S. Angel; and her sister, Gloria M. Teal (Angel). She is survived by her two daughters, Terry McDonnell Lentz (Mark) and Cindy McDonnell Baker (Keith), as well as one very special granddaughter, Taryn R. Baker. She is also survived by her dear sister, Ada Nuffer, her sister-in-law, Edna Sick (nee McDonnell), as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sweetest, most positive and encouraging person you could ever want to meet and was loved by many. Our hearts are aching with grief, but we are celebrating the joy of her being with our Lord and Savior!
