M. Gayle Turner, 91, of Millersville passed away on December 16, 2014. She was born on April 3, 1923 in Millersville. She enjoyed working as a secretary of the MD State Legislature for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Odenton Chapter, the Indian Landing Boat Club and was a longtime member of the Gambrills Athletic Club. Gayle enjoyed decorating, traveling, playing bridge and most importantly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Turner, Jr.; her daughter, Sheran Lee Booth, her grandson, Ashley Clay Booth and her son-in-law, John Neale Hatch. She is survived by daughter, Sondra Jaye Hatch; her grandchildren, Lisa Lee Hatch and John Neale Hatch, Jr.; her sister, K. Hope Thompson; her son-in-law, George A. Booth; and her great-grandchildren, Hayden Elisabeth Hatch, Madelyn Neale Hatch and Paige Casey Majikas.
