On December 25, 2015, Margaret I. Smith "Maggie" passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born on October 14, 1930 in Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Smith worked as a Silk Screener at the BWI Westinghouse, and then later as a crossing guard at Hilltop Elementary School. Maggie volunteered her time at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, and was a member of Severna Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, baking, and cooking for her family who knew her as "G.G."
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children; William Smith, III, Susan Brightman and her husband Thomas, and Steven Smith, Sr., and his fiancé Ramona Johnson, her grandchildren; Eric Smith, Paul Schuler, Steven Smith, Jr., Shawn Lee, Levi Johnson, and Nikki Jones, and her great grandchildren; Tony, Erik, Taylor, and Dylan Smith, Jocelyn Batchelder, Gray Schuler, Zachary Dix, Jason LaRocha, Dayton Lee, Riley Lee, Ryan Lee, Shawn Lee, Jr., Allison Johnson, and Cameron Colley. She also leaves behind her 2 dogs, Quenie and Lucy, and her cat, Buddy Boy. Maggie was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
