Margaret Simmons

Margaret "Elva" Simmons, 95, of Glen Burnie passed away on December 1, 2013 at Glen Burnie Health & Rehab Center. Elva was born in 1918 in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as a Clerk at Westinghouse for 45 years. Elva was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was in the choir and was a Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by two brothers, Frederick R. Fontz, Sr. and wife Thelma and William Fontz and wife Juanita; and also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Simmons.
