Maria Lane

On Monday September 29, 2014 Mary A. Lane, a 50 year resident of Glen Burnie, passed away at a nursing home in Silver Spring, MD.
Maria loved doting on her granddaughter and traveling. For many years she was involved with the We Go Pleasure Travel Club. This allowed her and her late husband Wilbur to visit most of the country. She loved being a naturalized citizen of the United States. In her later years, she was an active member and volunteer at the Glen Burnie Elks.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her son, Ronald Lane and his wife Karen, her granddaughter, Allison and her husband Jonny, and her great granddaughter Lane Ashley Claussen. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Lane and their daughter Patricia Kay Hornbake.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Program, 1041 Rt. 3 North Building A1, Gambrills, MD 21054
