Marion Canupp

Marion "Ace" Canupp, 88, of Millersville, passed away at Hospice of the Chesapeake on November 23, 2016. He was born in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Madison and Essie Canupp. Ace was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He enjoyed stock car racing, fishing, telling jokes, spending time with his family and was a great mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Canupp.
Ace is survived by his wife of 72 years, Janie; daughter, Melenie Maule (John); two granddaughters, Patty Valenzia and Kristeena Smallwood; great-grandchildren, DJ, Angela, Drew, Alexis, Addison and Nic; daughter-in-law, Marsha Canupp; sister, Hazel Sides; niece, Libby Mabery; and nephews, Bobby Sides, Jimmy Sides, Rocky Canupp and Lanny Canupp.
