Marion Schellman

June 30, 1964 — July 24, 2019

On July 24, 2019, Marion Joyce Schellman, 55, of Linthicum, passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Michael and Joyce Schellman. Marion worked as a licensed cosmetologist and was the proud owner of Illusions in Glen Burnie from 1986-1992, A New U Salon in Glen Burnie from 1994-1998 and Reflections Mini Day Spa in Linthicum from 1998-2006. From 2008-2010, she became a full time caregiver for her nephew, Aiden. In 2010, she started working for her husband’s business, Powell and Turner Heating and Cooling, where she became partner and Chief Financial Officer. Marion enjoyed Japanese cuisine, traveling to Disney, Jamaica and Deep Creek Lake, listening to music (her favorite artist was Rob Thomas), painting crafts, watching movies, playing board games, puzzles and slot machines. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Wayne K. Turner; daughter, Tiffany Turner; grandson, William Roy; brother, John Schellman and his wife, Diane; nieces and nephews, Malorie Nycum and her husband, Michael, and their children, Camden and Kennedy; Meredith Jones, Aiden Schellman and Ryan Schellman; sister-in-law, Tracie Parks and her husband, Donald; and her mother-in-law, Nancy Turner. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Billy Turner.

Friends and family please join us to celebrate the amazing life of Marion Schellman on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 1 PM to 4 PM. The Celebration of Life Service is being held at the Elks Lodge Number 160, Truck House Rd., Severna Park, MD 21146. The family has requested everyone please bring one of their favorite dishes, side, dessert and or main dish, to be served at the Celebration of Life.
