Henry Joseph Muir Sr.

On September 18, 2019, Henry J. Muir, Sr., 76, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones.  He fought an eight month battle with cancer and stage 4 renal failure.

Henry was the loving husband of  55 years to Delores C. Muir (nee Sadler); devoted father to Barbara A. Bingel and her husband Robert, Henry J. Muir Jr. and his wife Cindy, Kathy L. Ingle and her husband Kevin, and Scott D. Muir and his wife Jessica; beloved grandfather to Shelbi L. Saegal and her husband Christian, Robert L. Bingel III and his fiancé Nancy, Nicholette L. Bingel, Stephanie M. Ingle, Jodi L. Muir, Henry J. Muir III; and numerous extended family.

Henry was employed at the Mass Transit Administration for 38 years.  His favorite passtime, was camping trips with his family.  He also enjoyed collecting die cast and model airplanes, collecting trains for his Christmas garden, and anything Disney.  He enjoyed going to baseball games and restoring his 1964 Thunderbird.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Monday, September 23rd, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
