Paul Thomas Pass, Sr., 69, of Brooklyn Park, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at his home. Paul was born in Washington, DC, on November 2, 1949, to the late Annabelle and Banks Pass. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army and he enjoyed boxing, exercising, and playing ping pong.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 44 and a half years, Charlyne E. Pass; his beloved son, Paul T. Pass, Jr.; and his cherished friends, David Harris, Allen Hawkins, Bobby Hamilton, and Hardy Barnes. He was predeceased by his dear friend, Ted “Skin” Bailey.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 11:30 AM at River of Life Worship Center, 8232 Redmiles Lane, Odenton, MD 21113. A viewing will be held prior to the service at church from 11-11:30 AM. Interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Paul’s name may be made to the American Stroke Association at www.stroke.org
