Rev. Jack Cassel

Rev. Jack H. Cassel, 86 of Gwynn Oak and formerly of Millersville passed away on November 18, 2021. Jack was born on March 1, 1935 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Henry D. and Ruth H. Cassel. He received his recommendation for the Ministry in 1955 and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA on June 2, 1957. He received his Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH in 1960. He married, Linda Louise Garman on June 9, 1956 at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Hershey, PA. Jack is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer C. Ford (David Ford) and Melinda Cassel (Eileen Robinson); and his two grandsons, Julian M. Ford and Paul A. Ford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Cassel.

The family will receive visitors at Severna Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 24th from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 AM. Interment will be at Hummelstown Cemetery on Friday, November 26th at 11 AM.
