Richard Bossler

On October 6, 2015, Richard Leon Bossler of Glen Burnie, passed away at his home. He was born in Hyde Park, Reading, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1936, to the late Pauline and Irwin Bossler. Richard served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force retiring as a Staff Sergeant after twenty years. He then went on to work at the Goddard Space Flight Center and the Smithsonian. Richard enjoyed woodworking, camping, hunting, and playing on the computer.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Carole H. Bossler; his loving daughter, Darlene Porter; his cherished grandchildren, Brad Purkey, Aimee Holden, Dylan Porter, Garrett Porter, and Mackenzie Porter; his beloved great-grandchildren, Raymond Holden Jr., Antonio Holden, and Aubree Holden; and his brother, Ronald Schell. In addition to Richard's parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Robin Purkey.
