Robert (Bob) Palmer, Jr., 66, born on March 31, 1955, in El Paso TX, and a Maryland resident for more than 57 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10th, at the Bridge Point Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was predeceased by his father Roberto Palmer Sr. and survived by his mother Margarita Palmer and his wife Patsy Palmer. He was a devoted husband of 24 years and proud father of 6 children, Amidy Taylor, Robert Redwine, Jason Rawlings, Joseph Palmer, Valerie Palmer and Emily Edger, and loving grandfather to 17 grandchildren. He is survived by his Sister Ana Palmer, Niece Maya Reckards, Sons-In-Law Craig Taylor and Jeremy Edger, and Daughter-in-Law Desirae Rawlings. He was a man of many talents, from web design to leather crafting. He loved to cook, paint, play guitar, piano, and cruise the Caribbean. His witty sense of humor will be remembered by many.
A small service will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. in Glen Burnie, MD 21061, on Saturday, May 15th, starting at 1 p.m. with a gathering then followed by A Celebration of Life Service from 2 – 3 p.m. The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the American Heart Association at https://donatenow.heart.org.
