Roland Ballwanz, Sr

Roland E. "Reese" Ballwanz, Sr., 88 of Glen Rock, PA passed away on June 22, 2018. Reese was born on November 26, 1929 in Baltimore to the late Anton and Lydia Ballwanz (nee Parker). He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jeanette M. Ballwanz (nee Franz); his children, Roland E. Ballwanz, Jr. (Patti), Lydia Ballwanz-Duvall and Jon Ballwanz (Kristy); his brother-in-law, Francis E. Schirmer (Dottie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Karl Ballwanz and Joan Seibel. Reese loved working outdoors, watching TV and westerns.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
