On Monday, January 5, 2015, Mrs. Ruth C. Davis, a longtime resident of Linthicum, passed away at the Crofton Convalescent Center. Mrs. Davis was born on October 7, 1924, in Covington, VA. Ruth and her late husband were very active in the "Noteables" singing group. She enjoyed scheduling trips for A.A.R.P. and sewing.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by husband, Warren "Jack" Davis, and her daughter, Carla Davis. She is survived by her son, Jack Davis and his partner, Vilas M. Johnson, Jr., her brother, Fred Blakmore, her sister in law, Peggy DeFrances, and her niece, Janice Fredericks.
