Shirley Collison

Shirley Helen Collison, 88, a resident of Glen Burnie for over 55 years passed away on June 18, 2022. Shirley was born on September 6, 1933 in Baltimore City to the late Willard George and Anna Amelia (nee Walton) Somers. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Butch” I. Perry, III; and her brother, Francis “Frank” Somers. Shirley is survived by her children, Connie Crouch (Ernie), Ken Collison (Susan) and Frances “Bunny” Castle (Dave); her grandchildren, Tracie Perry-Schouster, Kyle and Britney Castle; her great-grandchildren, Kayli & Cody Schouster; her siblings, Willard Somers Jr., Audrey Falter; Dawn Lingner (Bob) and Brenda Hilton (Jim); sister-in-law, Linda Somers; and daughters-in-law, June and Barbara Perry. Shirley was a former member of the Minnie Mouse Club and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, June 24th from 12-1 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
