Shirley Siebert

Shirley Mae Siebert, 81, of Pasadena, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2017. She was born at home in Pasadena to the late Laura and James Saunders. She graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1954. She retired from the Board of Education after many years as Chief Custodian of Broadneck Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, photography, making cards for her family and friends and loved to wear bright outfits with coordinating jewelry and hats. Shirley also enjoyed going to the Pascal Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William E. Siebert Sr.; son-in-law, Mike Beverly; and her siblings, James Saunders, Marie Webster, Dorothy Haas and Hazel Spangler.

Shirley is survived by her children, Laura L. Beverly, Tammera E. Schisler and her husband, Mark, William E. Siebert Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Wendy L. Chalfont and Lisa A. Dodson and her husband, Greg; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, March 28th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
