On September 7, 2018, William "Wee" Rowe Gardner, III, 76, of Westminster, formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away. He was born on September 10, 1941, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Ethel and William R. Gardner, Jr. Wee was a longshoreman for 20 years and then a waterman for 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking and was an amateur meteorologist, always checking and predicting the weather.
Wee was predeceased by his devoted wife of 50 years, Susan A. "Scooter" Gardner, his dear son William R. Gardner IV, and his brother Gordon Gardner. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Debbie Johnson and son Kirk Gardner and his wife Stacey; his beloved grandchildren, Kristen, Katie, Justin, Bryan, Ashley, and Kevin; and his five cherished great-grandchildren.
