William Largent, Sr.

July 1, 1965 — December 7, 2020

William Frederick Largent, Sr. “Bill,” 55, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center.  Bill was born on July 1, 1965, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the late Ruth and William M. Largent.  He worked for JDL Electric Company in Halethorpe, Maryland, as an electrician for many years.  Bill was a member of the Tri-County Sportsman Hunting Club, previous member of the Anne Arundel Alarmers, he was the president and founder of the North County Select Baseball Braves, he coached with North Glen Baseball, Harundale Baseball, and the Pasadena Chargers Football league.  He enjoyed football, baseball, hunting, 4 wheeling, fishing, crabbing, camping with his family and friends, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Dee Ann Largent; his beloved children, Kristie Strong, William Largent Jr., and Richard (Sarah) Largent; his cherished grandchildren, Dalton Taylor, Breanna Brown, Alayah Largent, Jackson Largent, and Baby Largent on-the-way; his dear siblings, Diana Trotta, Donna Chadwell, and Daniel Daris; and his caring parents-in-law, Betty and Benjamin Swann.  In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his beloved son, Joshua Strong.  Bill is also survived by many extended family & friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Monday, December 14th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, December 15th at 12 noon at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1015 Sundown Road, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061.  Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Donations may be made in his name to Fellowship Baptist Church-OR- Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors.  We kindly ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to enter the funeral home.
