William Montgomery

William T. Montgomery, 95, of Severn passed away on July 12, 2014. William was born on March 20, 1919 in Baltimore to the late Elmer and Myrtle Montgomery. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII and was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant. He worked at Ft. Meade in many different capacities with his last assignment as a Commissary Field Officer. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. William enjoyed playing cards and other competitive games and loved watching the Orioles and Ravens play.

He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 72 years, Lauretta F. Montgomery; his daughter, Pam McGinnis and her husband, Dana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
